Debunking Myths and Misconceptions about Alberta's Energy Transition

Debunking Myths and Misconceptions about Alberta's Energy Transition

Over the summer of 2017, The Green Medium conducted research into the public discussion around energy in Alberta. What we found is that opposition to Alberta’s (necessary) transition away from fossil fuels still exists in the province. In the coming years, Alberta will need to undergo this transition in order to combat climate change but without public pressure, government and industry leaders are less likely to act in a significant way, to act soon or to act at all. In an effort to change the public conversation, The Green Medium will be publishing a series of articles that seek to challenge myths and misconceptions that are hindering Alberta’s energy transition. Check back often throughout January to see this amazing content!
